Minne MNMerCon 2026 is looking for our 2026 ART... do YOU have a logo art idea you'd like to share?
We are committed to keeping our base ticket prices at $100, and have been exploring new ways to continue this commitment despite the rising costs of...well, everything.

By community request, we are adding a fancy fun funky formal event to the shenanigans. The theme? "Dive into the Abyss", so come in your interpretation of what a creature of the deep costume would be, and plan for a blacklight ball! From ballgown to sea dragon onesie, show us your style and come ready to shake your shimmy!

We wanted to find a way to offer photoshoots at a lower pricepoint, and our dry photoshoot option lets us do just that. Our in house photographer team will work with you to get you quality images you can use for your portfolio, headshot, or just for fun!

We wanted to find a way to offer Underwater photoshoots at a lower pricepoint too, so we are trialing out an underwater photo booth this year to "sea" how you guys like it. Our in house photographer team will be providing the photos, you just snag a prop & strike a pose!

CPR & 1st Aid Certification
Staying up to date on certifications can help you not only be better prepared as a MerFolk, but as a human as well! For 2026, we are offering a CPR & 1st Aid certification opportunity at the MerCon Sunday afternoon from 1-4. We are working with a local instructor to get sign-ups ready! Stay tuned for more de-tails!

Dive inte the Abyss: a blacklight Ball
Also NEW for 2026!
Come dressed in your funkiest formal deep water creature costuming as we dive into the darkness to "sea" if life really is better "under the sea". Grab a photo at the photo booth, enjoy on theme treats, and dance the night away with all the other funky fishes!

ASL Basics Levels 1 & 2
Instructor: Tarah
This will be our 3rd year offering ASL basics, and we are very excited to be able to offer these seminars as a refresher opportunity every year! Repeated exposure and practice is a proven way to learn a language, so come learn (or practice again!) some basic signs to help you communicate when words aren't an option.
PADI Certification
Mermaid Zippy is a North Carolina-based mermaid who's mermaid journey began in 2023. She aims to make mermaiding and water safety more accessible, promote environmental education, and encourage a love of learning.
