OMPA ARTS*
An Artistic Collective
Arts & the Humanities have proven consistently throughout Time to be essential components of well rounded cultures, yet we are watching in real time as our education system is stripped of arts programming and the Arts and It's Artists are struggling now more than ever to continue to find safe and sustainable spaces to practice their gifts.
As an organization, we want to help connect developing and established artists with studio space, platforms for them to publish their work, and opportunities thru storefronts and events for them to share it with others,
while being part of a safe community to grow with.
OMPA EATS*
Connecting with Your Food
Born out of the need to have safe water access during events, OMPA Eats has slowly grown from there. While we have lofty goals for the future to help network small local gardeners and
farms to co-op, for now we are keeping things a little closer to home, and provide safe and sustainable catering options with traditional roots.
OMPA EVENTS*
Outreach, Education, & Entertainment
It began as a solo camping retreat on a friend's land that slowly grew into a desire to help my friends get out and get barefoot in the grass and get some grounding into their lives... helping them take a breath and disengage from the stress for just a moment and feel the sunshine. Smell the campfire. Hear the wind and taste a moment of peace.
Things slowly grew from there to include outdoor music, small festivals, and themed camping trips...
Seasons change, and when we had to leave the woods, we found the water. MNMerCon launched in 2024, and started us down another way which we are able to create safe & sustainable spaces to create events capable of being both entertaining AND educational. Edutainment.
But. The heart of every event will always be to help people connect with the Arts and Ecology through Edutainment.
Ompa events works with the rest of the OMPA team to provide safe and sustainable spaces for events, provide platforms for artists to share their work, and the Ompa Eats division ensures clean and safe food access for participants.
OMPA OUTDOORS*
Educational Farming, Ecology, & Safe Sustainable Outdoor Event Spaces
Ompa Outdoors works together in a cooperative effort with the OMPA organization to support one another thru trading labor, goods, and finances as necessary in order to help provide safe and sustainable access to outdoor education, ecology, farming, and event spaces.
One of the goals and missions of Ompa Outdoors is to provide people with safe and sustainable access to the simple blessing of being able to put your toes in the grass and breathe for a minute...and to then share and teach others about the reasons why that's so good and necessary for us all. Biologically. And then we spend some time learning about how growing things grow us, and our relationship to that.
