Structure:
The costs of everything keeps going up, so we have been looking at other conventions and working on ways to keep our commitment to a weekend badge at $100.00 while still being able to offer a wide variety of activities for our guests.
The California MerCon offers many of their events as an add on to the main weekend badge, and we will be trialing that out this year to "sea" if that might be a way we can help keep things affordable for our community here!
What that means is that MOST of the activities that have additional cost are being offered as an add on to your weekend badge instead of being lumped into the weekend badge price. This means you won't be paying for classes or activities that you are not interested in, give us a better idea how many people to plan for per event, and let's us keep our commitment to our community to offer an affordable local convention.
We know this is a change from typical pricing plans, so we ask you to give it a chance and look forward to hearing back from the community on how this trial goes for everyone.
Your feedback DOES matter, and we have added and changed things every year based on community feedback. In fact, this affordability effort is the direct result of feedback that affordability is a struggle for mers in our community.
In an effort to be more accessible, we will ALSO be opening up parts of the convention to the public. We encourage you to check the options out and let us know what you think!

Weekend Badge - $100.00 Commitment
We are committed to keeping our badges at $100. This is the lowest price point of any mer convention currently operating, and we are working hard to find creative ways to keep rising costs from effecting this commitment.

Due to popular demand, we will be adding a GALA BALL to our event this year!

Sunday Siren Spa Session - $15
Come relax and unwind with us after the long weekend, and get a little pampering in before you head back out into the world! You ticket will include: - face masks - a foot soak - a hand scrub - a set of nails OR nailpolish - spa snacks

Tea & Cookie Decorating -
A donation based experiment
Your registration will include: -your choice of hot tea / coco beverage & a cookie you get to decorate and take with you [if it makes it out the door!].
IF we are able to make our budget for this, we will also be able to include a tea cup for you to take home as a souvenir.
Suggested Donation for this event is $5.
Registration WILL be required. A donation will NOT. It is our hope that people will contribute/donate what they can to help make the activity budget for this class. If you can only donate $1 or if you can donate $15, we know everyone has different circumstances and are hoping this is a way the community can come together and offer support for one another.
This is something we are trialing out for this year as we are exploring options to offer affordable activities. We will be looking for your feedback to let us know what you think of this option.
