Alyssa
Alyssa grew up swimming competitively, year round, for 14 years. Years later her love of the water led her to the world of merfolk. She has been a part of the MNRF for almost 20 years, over 10 of it in the Mermaid Cove where she is currently the director. By day Alyssa is a CVT (Certified Vet Tech) who also enjoys her volunteer hours at Como Zoo with the aquatics department. She is human CPR/First Aid Certified and RECOVER Initiative certified (animals).

Hi! I am Camille Branham and I am so excited to be joining the “Minnie” Mercon team! I am a Twin Cities based photographer. I love capturing the amazing moments. With a background in performance and fine arts and a soon to be MCAD student I love bringing creativity and energy to every shoot. When I’m not taking photos you can find me performing as Little Red Riding Hood at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, learning to juggle, or attempting to climb a rock way taller than necessary.

Mermaid Zippy
Mermaid Zippy is a North Carolina-based mermaid. Her mermaid journey began in 2023 while she was touring with a popular ice show, and she needed a fun way to stay in shape while on the road. After her time with the tour ended she began connecting with others in the mermaid community and learning more about the mer-community. She aims to make mermaiding and water safety more accessible, promote environmental education, and encourage a love of learning. Zippy is a PADI-certified Mermaid Instructor and Basic Freediver, and is certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED.
